This project and everyone participating in it is governed by the iDempiere Code of Conduct. By participating, you are expected to uphold this code.

Our Purpose

A primary goal of iDempiere is to be inclusive to the largest number of contributors, with the most varied and diverse backgrounds possible. We are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and religion (or lack thereof).

Communication Guidelines

  • Avoid flamewars, trolling, personal attacks, repetitive arguments, and advertising
  • Do not post messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws
  • Challenge others’ points of view respectfully and thoughtfully without insult and personal attack
  • Post only when you have something constructive to say
  • Ask questions in the project’s forum - this is the best place for support
  • No selling in the forums
  • Avoid demanding contributions or cooperation from others

Reporting Unacceptable Behavior

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the project team. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response that is deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances.

Help improve iDempiere by reporting issues you encounter.

Suggest Enhancements

Propose new features or improvements to existing functionality.

Write Code

Fix bugs, add features, or improve performance.

Write Documentation

Help others by contributing to documentation.

Create Plugins

Develop plugins that extend iDempiere’s functionality.

Test

Test new features and improvements.

Security Vulnerabilities

Do not open up a JIRA ticket if the bug is a security vulnerability in iDempiere. Instead, refer to our security policy.
